Donor-Advised Fund

SUMMARY
Donor-advised funds are an easy way to support the Foundation. Make an outright gift from your donor-advised fund OR name us as the ultimate beneficiary of the remainder of the fund.

How It Works

  • You name the Foundation as a beneficiary of your donor-advised fund (DAF).
  • You designate the Foundation to receive all or a portion of the balance of your fund on your passing.
  • The balance in your fund passes to the Foundation when the fund terminates.
  • You can also make grants to the Foundation from your donor-advised fund during your lifetime!

Benefits

  • DAF accounts are convenient for maximizing charitable giving and tax planning.
  • DAF accounts are convenient for nonprofits because DAFs grant cash donations.
  • You can recommend that grants be used for specific purposes of a charitable mission or specify this purpose when naming the Foundation as a beneficiary of the DAF.
  • You can use DAFs to create legacy gifts.
